Ardmay House is ideal for couples who are looking for a relaxed, informal and good value for money wedding in a beautiful location in the Scottish countryside.
We offer an informal, exclusive use wedding venue where you can celebrate with all of your guests from Friday night through to Sunday morning.
Ideally situated on the beautiful shore of Loch Long, Ardmay House is less than one hour’s drive from Glasgow. Dating from 1854 the house was originally built as a Victorian fishing lodge. Although the house has been comprehensively refurbished in recent years, it manages to retain its distinctive character.
Your wedding ceremony can take place on our stunning private beach, looking out onto the scenery of the loch and the Arrochar Alps. Alternatively you can be wed in our dramatic front hall or common room with striking views of the local landscape.
Arrochar Parish Church is less than a five minute drive from us and is a beautiful location for your ceremony.
Sleeping up to 65 in dorm-style rooms, we have retained a homely and relaxed feel throughout the house.
There are several communal spaces, including a dining room, large common room and library.
We are very flexible in our approach and are able to tailor our wedding packages to suit your requirements. You may also wish to include an outdoor activity or a guided walk as part of your weekend celebration.
We offer a fully catered service and are happy to discuss various dining options with you.
Our wedding co-ordinator is able to liaise with suppliers on your behalf and can offer a host of suggestions for your special day, from children’s entertainment to flower arrangements.

Cost per person: £100 plus VAT (based on a minimum of 40 guests). Children under 12 are free with an accompanying adult.

We are also able to offer the house for day use.
